What file do I need?

Upload a clean DXF drawing or a suitable sheet-metal STEP/STP model for a quote. Use millimetres and check the actual size. For JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF or DWG, or a DXF needing repairs, start with File Workshop.

Can I order just one?

Yes. Single parts, prototypes, small batches and repeat orders are welcome. Set your quantity to one to price a first part, then change the quantity to compare a batch.

The price depends on your drawing and chosen options. The minimum order is £20. For a larger production enquiry, send us your requirements before ordering.

What should I confirm?

• Material, thickness and quantity.
• Any required grade, surface finish or certification.
• Every outside edge, hole and slot, and the finished size.
• Critical tolerances and any additional operations. We do not offer bending.
• Available powder coating and any fit or masking considerations.

Deburring is included for metal parts. Acrylic is CO₂ laser cut and does not need deburring. Our usual cutting tolerance is ±0.2 mm, with potentially greater variation on larger or complex parts. Agree critical fits before ordering.

A suitable folded STEP model can be unfolded for cutting. We do not offer bending: your metal parts are supplied flat and deburred. Confirm any other additional operations before ordering.

What affects the price?

Your quote is based on the uploaded geometry, material, thickness, quantity and selected services. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the package weight and dimensions.

The minimum order is £20. We are not VAT registered, so we do not charge VAT. Review the full order breakdown, delivery charge and total before paying.

Why do I need an email address?

You need an email address to place an order. It supports your customer account and order communication. Use an address you can access so you can follow the order and contact us about it.

Your account brings together saved quotes, past orders and progress. Check the drawing and current specification when reordering; upload a new file if the design has changed.

How quickly will I receive my parts?

Production is normally 1–2 days when the material is in stock. Delivery is next day after dispatch. Production takes longer if we are waiting for stock material.

Production and delivery are separate stages. If your project needs parts by a particular date, check with us before ordering so we can confirm the timing for your job, including any finish.

What if I need to change an order?

Contact us as soon as you discover a mistake or need to change a paid order. Include the order number and describe the change. Whether it can be accommodated depends on the stage of the job; do not assume the order has been changed until we confirm.

For a revised design that has not yet been ordered, upload the new file and check its quote again. Keep your own copy of the approved drawing.

What if there is a problem?

For damage, missing parts or an apparent mismatch with the agreed specification, contact us with your order number and photographs. Describe the issue and include useful measurements. The order, file and supplied specification can then be reviewed together.

Custom parts are made to your supplied design. Check the preview carefully, and confirm important requirements before manufacture. Delivery and returns explains how to raise a transit or order issue.

What happens to my drawing?

Uploaded files and technical data are used for quoting, manufacture and support. Files may be retained to support repeat orders and order history, as described in our privacy policy.

If your project requires an NDA, a particular retention period or restricted handling of technical drawings, discuss it with us before uploading the sensitive material.
