Cut It Out grew from a practical problem. While building a race car, many of the parts needed to be custom made, and waiting for laser cut parts was slowing the project down. Because I was often only looking for one-off parts, many companies would not even get back to me.

That led me to build a small 4 ft x 4 ft CNC plasma table so I could cut my own parts. From there, I started making parts for other people, and the work eventually grew to the point where investing in an industrial fibre laser made sense.

This website was built to make custom parts easier to order, especially when you only need one-offs or smaller runs and do not want to spend days chasing emails just to get a price.
